On the Mekong River in Laos, we took the "slow boat to China." We tracked our progress on our handheld GPS, which we use onboard our sailboat, Pioneer. During our trip up the beautiful and remote regions of Mekong, we demonstrated the GPS to the captain, who had never seen one before.
