Welcome to our International Photo Gallery

We have drawn from our 16,000 photo database of shots collected so far during our travels on three continents and numerous remote islands. Some of our favorites are presented in this website in a series of "galleries."

From the beginning of our expedition in 1999 through early 2003, all photos were taken with a 2.1 megapixel Kodak 280 digital camera. We moved to a 5.0 megapixel Minolta Dimage 7Hi camera with a 5X optical zoom lens. At the end of 2006 we purchased a 10.2 MP Sony Digital SLR camera with 11x optical lens. The photos it produces are huge. For this site, we crop and reduce the quality of each photo sufficiently that download and display times are reasonable.

We are now using a Canon High Definition video camera.
