Welcome to our Laos Photo Galleries

We visited Laos beginning in December and January (2003-4). The adventure produced hundreds of photos, nearly 100 of which we present in five Laos photo galleries.

We entered the country from Thailand, crossing the Mekong over to the Capitol, Vientiane. After a week we flew (because of safety concerns on the main highway north) to Luang Prabang -- and then traveled up the Mekong via slow boat to Huai Sai before crossing the river back into Thailand.

We returned to Laos in 2007, and again in 2009.
