Our dear friends Rich and Jane aboard sailing vessel Cabochon sailed nonstop from Miami to Solomons, MD, in the Chesapeake, a trip of 1,000 nautical miles. They suffered a "knockdown" in a severe nighttime thunderstorm and also engine failure, and are seen here on the calm day they arrived, pushing Cabochon with their dinghy "Little Gem."
