An ocean trip of 1,000 miles from Miami to the Chesapeake brought our friends Rich and Jane near disaster when a thunderstorm knocked their boat over and ripped their sails. In addition, they had no motor and averaged less than one knot per hour the last four days. Seen here stepping off their boat/home the first time in 12 days, their optimism and spirit shows. Said Rich, "No problem....we hadn't tried rowing yet!"
