Don's grandfather Herman Utermohle wrote the history of southern Montana as he lived it after arriving in 1879 until his death in 1960. This cabin on Herman's ranch near Greycliff was the family home after the big house burned down. Don has written his own story of this ranch. It's in the Essays section, titled: Ranch.
