Durbar Square of Kathmandu is a center of social and religious activity for the city. One interesting structure is the home of the Kumari Devi, a Newari girl who is a Living Goddess. She and her family live in Durbar Square until she reaches puberty, then she is retired and another Kumari Devi is found.
