Machapuchare Peak (Nepali for "Fishtail") is just under 23,000 feet and is certainly not the highest in the Annapurna Range. But from Sarangkot Peak in Pokhara, it appears to be most dramatic. This shot was taken from an altitude of 5,000 feet.
