Orphans

In Kathmandu, orphans roam the street doing what they can to stay alive. They sleep in abandoned lots and on the streets. A few lucky ones are eventually sponsored by organizations or individuals (usually foreign). We have several friends here who lived the horror of street life, were sponsored, and are responsible adults. You can provide education, lodging and food for a child for a mere $525 per year.
