Dredge

The Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) is kept passable by the government's continual efforts to dredge it deep enough for passage by sailboats such as Pioneer, and a wide variety of other vessels. Here, we are passing by dredging equipment being pulled by a tug. The length of this chain of gear, most of which cannot be seen in this photo, exceeds 1.500 feet!
