Kwai River Christian Hospital

The hospital's patients are from diverse ethnic groups on both sides of Thailand's border with Burma.

The languages most commonly spoken by the inpatients are Pwo Karen, Sgaw Karen, Mon, and Burmese.

About half of all inpatients speak some Thai. Approximately 5,000-10,000 people in surrounding communities are served by this hospital.
