Increasingly, people are building houses in the previously natural Wapiti Valley. This area is midway between Cody, Wyoming and the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park, which is open only seasonally. The "town" of Wapiti, less than a mile from our summer home, consists of a bar and restaurant and a small post office. That's it!
